The AUSactive National Awards Program formerly known as the Fitness Australia Awards has a long-standing and proud history that recognises and celebrates the outstanding achievement of the Australian Active Health and Exercise industry. The awards reinforce AUSactive’s vision to activate the nation Every body. Every way. Every day.
AUSactive Distribution Network
The Awards have a distribution network of over 20,000 individuals, businesses and community groups and attracts thousands of applications each year. Every year the national awards committee develops a comprehensive suite of categories and awards to reflect the most critical facets of the Active Health & Exercise Industry. Recognised as the pinnacle of industry achievement, the awards are a fantastic opportunity to shine as an industry leader.
Awards Program
The AUSactive National Awards Program consists of a series of state-based events showcasing state finalists for the majority of categories and state winners. These events will be held around the country in July. The National Gala event will be held in Sydney on the 11th of October 2024. National winners will be announced for all categories.
The AUSactive National Awards Program judging process is rigorous, transparent, and taken very seriously by the Independent Industry Judging Panel.

The AUSactive 2024 Awards Program has 32 unique categories to select from.
All nominees should meet the criteria of the category for which they are entering.
AUSactive has designed a user-friendly platform to ensure the entry process is seamless.
AUsactive has developed robust judging processes and procedures.

Awards 2024 Pillars
Industry-specific categories:
Each award category has been developed to recognise the various aspects of successful businesses, individuals and community groups. There will be 32 categories in 2024.
Experienced judges:
AUSactive will do a call out for a panel of expert judges. They will be selected based on the following criteria.
– Level 3 professionals,
– Exercise Educators, must have a TAE Cert IV in training and assessing.
– Exercise or Active Health Industry Academics
– Business Owner/Operators, Industry Senior Management or Directors.
They will provide impartial expertise and insightful critique and work as advocates to help promote the active health and exercise industry as a rewarding career.

The AUSactive National Awards provide an opportunity for individuals and businesses to be recognised for their significant contribution and dedication to their work and clients.
